.: Our legend.... :.

RvNp life can be described in many forms
It can be described as a book, a story, just like the previous posts...
It can be like a mountain hike,
sec one like the starting journey, gentle n easy to climb
sec two, with a steeper gradient, but with more
discoveries, fun with tougher challenge
sec three, journey near and at the summit, extreme challenges,
but we all endured thru together, push our limits to the furthest..
NCO life, not as tough, though going down, but must be very careful not to make a mistake and fall....
Now,
we r reaching the base camp le, our time are ticking away,
Let's all ask ourselves, do we or have we treasure the
time we spent thruout the hike, if not, make use of the time we haf left
and make the best out of it....Countdowning....

.: itc 2006 :.

it was a memorable one for me... it was also the one which made me wake up... wake up from the failures i suffered, the hardships i went through... i wanna thank the NCO squad for making it a pure success. esp the camp coordis... the many spate of events in the camp re-emphasises the importance of endurance both in NP and in life. im sad to say that it took me many weeks to realise that i have not truly learnt the true meaning of it until now. coping with studies as well as CCA stuff have led me into some barriers... im guilty to say that i stood staring at the barriers in front of me for many weeks until now when i tell myself to overcome it. its not easy leading many ppl esp people the same lvl as u all. i hope u all noe that... i was thinking of the past ITCs that we went through together, the simlarities was that we went through together, we endured together, we perservered on... the differences are that we are NCOs now... though different level, but we still went through it together, i hope u all can take the night drill away with u all and keep it in ur memories eternally. i will never forget neither will i even try to... the minutes spent were worthed it though we were tired... the things we are left to do together are almost nothing. the time we are left together are almost minimal to less than a month... cherish all the time we have left together as we approach the end of our RVNP life... fortunately, it may end in reality but in reality but it is still alive and kicking for us in our spirits, for now, in the past and years down the future. im happy to tag myself as a RVNP cadet. for that i noe that these simple words have some indept meaning... i will work hard myself as wad i often tell others, do not give up when the night is at the darkest for its just a while till dawn.. gaining respect is different from idolization... i hope that we will work hard together... eric

.: i don't know what to say... :.

Some people say that a glass is half empty, some say its half full... its just a simple thing to differentiate the pessimists and the optimists. always remember that they are still young and we cannot deny that the thought of missing acts lurk somewhere in our mind BEFORE. however, we did not we can say confidently. its not totally their fault. we cannot stop them from paying their last respects, neither can we force them to come for activity. however, we may ask... why is it that they do not wish to come for acts ? same principle here. we as seniors must look at things from different ways, i've learnt that not letting go of what has happened will make life miserable. it has happened and theres no changing. thats what an NCO must think but not lament at why they rather go for the wake...another thing, It doesn matter who takes whose squad... at the end of the day, its still the NCOs who take their squad... I do not mind anyone to take my squad, instead i hope almost every NCO can take my squad. so that i know where i can improve and secondly let my squad get use not only to the ICs but also to the whole NCO squad. do not be angry over certain things of what other NCOs have done. they have put in commitment to help u in ur squad so do appreciate it. do not blame them for he is also trying to do his job. do not seperate ur selves from ICs and norm NCOs for in the end we are all the same. it doesn mean that only squad ics can take matters of their squad. ask urself, have u interfered in other things before ? have other people minded ? if the ans is no then u shld really reflect. do unto others what u wan others to do to you. I've been thinking again... have we as rvnp.NCOs done our best for the cadets, for the unit and most of all for ourselves?... do not look through tinted glasses. being NCOs ourselves its normal to think that we are good ourselves. ask urself if we are REALLY good as a squad. whether we will leave behind legacies of what we want or experienced during sec 1. we should put in our best in whatever we do. are we becoming lousy? have we lost our fervour we once had? is the flame of RVNP still burning within you? if the ans is yes, bring back the discipline we are famous for as the word is fading soon... eric...
